Vintner's Choice is an opportunity to indulge yourself in the wonderful world of California wine, on a leisurely cruise experience that takes you deep into the famed Napa and Sonoma wine valleys. For 5 days, 4 nights, round trip from San Francisco, California, you will also enjoy a day exploring Sausalito and beautiful San Francisco Bay. Both wine novices and connoisseurs will enjoy tastings and interactive discussions about the history, mystery and delicacies of wine.
Each afternoon, you'll return from your day's adventures in the Wine Country to experience delightful hours on board ship, cruising on the rivers and the bay. A Guest Wine Speaker joins you on board to offer special tastings and personal insights into the world of fine wine.

Scenic cruising past Alcatraz, and under the Golden Gate Bridge.
Private luncheons, tours, or tastings at Auberge du Soleil, Mumm Napa, St. Francis, and Chateau St. Jean, as well as the Culinary Institute of America.

Day 1 - SAIL FROM SAN FRANCISCO
Transfer from San Francisco Airport to Cruise West's hospitality area near Fisherman's Wharf. Enjoy the city on your own or simply relax until boarding time. Kick off the evening with an exclusive wine tasting as the sun sets behind the Golden Gate Bridge.

Day 2 - HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NAPA VALLEY
Note: you may visit today’s wineries in an alternate order. Winery selection is subject to change.
Enjoy a cooking demonstration at the Culinary Institute of America, with time to peruse their famous cookware store. Return to the Culinary Institute for an engaging wine-blending seminar taught by Institute professionals.
For lunch, savor food and wine pairings selected exclusively for Cruise West by the sommelier at the world-renowned Auberge du Soleil restaurant, perched on the slope of Rutherford Hill.
Visit Mumm Napa, nestled along the historic Silverado Trail, and relish its spectacular views from a glass-enclosed tasting salon or their open-air terrace. Back aboard the ship, enjoy a leisurely cocktail hour and dinner.

Day 3 - SAUSALITO
Enjoy breakfast as we tie up near the charming seaside town of Sausalito. Take a stroll, exploring all this artists' town has to offer.
Optional activities include a visit to the Bay Model and shopping. This evening, enjoy a twilight cruise with onboard wine tasting.

Day 4 - CHOICES
Shop and explore Sonoma Plaza, an 8-acre square at the heart of Sonoma's historical district.

The afternoon will be filled visiting two wineries in Sonoma. At St. Francis you will be treated to food and wine pairings, touring, and tasting, plus Chateau St. Jean for tasting and a stroll through its magnificent gardens.
Back onboard the ship you will experience a leisurely cocktail hour with featured wines followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 5 - RETURN TO SAN FRANCISCO
You will want to be out on deck early this morning to take in the view as we cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge before returning to to Redwood City. Disembark and transfer to the Huntington Hotel. Complimentary bottle of wine and macaroon cookies in your room.

Relax in your luxury room plus indulge yourself with a soothing 80-minute spa treatment of your choice. Hotel services include complimentary chauffeured sedan service to/from Union Square, twice-daily maid service and daily Continental Breakfast. CB
Day 7 - HUNTINGTON HOTEL, NOB HILL
Another leisurely, pampered day before the deluxe Towncar Service transfers you to the San Francisco Airport for your return flight home.
